I'm sorry but I can't pick out one as the best. I love them all. I'm really looking forward to the last one too. I can't believe that it will be the last. There is so much to explain and work out yet. I told my husband that the next one will have to be a really big book to explain everything that's been left hanging after the last 6 books. Sure enough it's supposed to be 748 pages I heard. I hope JK Rowling will actually finish the story and not just leave everybody hanging or let you figure it out for yourself, oh that would be too cruel!

i like it all but the best for me is the first book, the sorcerer's stone coz he is just young then and still discovering his roots and magic!

i can just remember the first time i heard about harry potter. its was all over the news becoz the church was condemning it, saying it condoned witchcraft. hehehe. that just aroused my curiosity, so i started reading it. i got hooked after hearing about hogwarts and dumbledore, and vold-- oops, i mean he-who-must-not-be-named. i was hooked on the first page. what even amazed me more was the story of JK Rowling. it inspired me, it made me think that if you strive hard enough and never give up on things, you'll eventually get what you want. so i pick the first book. for introducing me to harry potter, and introducing me to ms. rowling who is living proof that you should never give up on your dreams no matter how hopeless it seems.
