My girlfriend was in town last weekend and we spent the night driving from store to store looking for the webkinz that her daughter didn't have. I had never heard of them and was intrigued. We only found them in stock in 2 stores and they were the ones she already had. It reminds me of the cabbage patch kids in the 80's. I laughed and said I'd see them everywhere now!

IT IS a website! check out www.webkinz.com
you buy this animal, and it comes with a code, you enter it online and you can play with your stuffed animal online! like dress it, make a house, play games against other people. it's cute! My 5 year old can use it but needs help. He might like it, and if not you can play, hahaha and he can have the animal!

They are little stuffed animals you buy at a store. By me only Hallmark stores sells them. ANyways, you buy the animal and it has a code, and you register online, and then you get a virtual animal and you have a house that you can build rooms in, play acrade games, and other stuff like that. Like little jobs to earn money to buy things for the animals. It's really cute! My older two boys really love it

My whole neighborhood is into them. I just bought one for each of my kids today for their Easter baskets. I really don't understand the craze but it looks cute. It's weird that Toys R Us and Target don't sell them-- I had to go to the Hallmark store.

The parent company has said they will not sell them at the large stores (i.e. Target, Wal mart, Toys R Us) to keep them a novelty! But do look at the store locator to find more. They are at some local Ace Hardwares, Hospital gift shops etc.

I have two children, 6 & 3...they both like webkinz and have quite a few animals. The thing is I think I am on there more than they are! Thats pretty bad huh?
