Pogo Cheaters and Prices..

Over the last 3 years Pogo prices have soared.. They have added so many money making things for them and i've always wondered if they actually DO payout to the Jackpot winners.. i had met one online in Pogo that had the JP badge, but something about the way they talked seemed wrong.. i honestly think it could have been a Pogo Staff member..
now for the cheating part.. i remember one time i had 5.00 in the Spinner.. and they wouldn't give it to me.. reason for non-payment: cheating..
yeah, i had used an Auto Program on a "different" game that i had won the 5 bucks on.. so what happened is they audited my Pogo Account and found that i had used it in the past, and even tho i had not used the program on that particular game.. they still refused to give me the 5 bucks.. which was ok, because i really just wanted the stinkin' badge.. which i also did not get.. they told me i had forfeited the cash and the badge prize when i decided to cheat..
You can check my profile and my winnings and you'll see i won the 5 bucks, but if you check the badges you wont find the "money" badge that indicates a cash prize winner.. pogo ID name is Duck1174 incase you want to check out my story..
has anyone else had experiences similar to this one? Were you caught for cheating using automated programs?? Lets hear about them... with the prices soaring like they have been in the last couple years.. i've looked for other gaming sites and found a few good ones.. can you recommend any good sites to me or anyone else out there reading this??

I have been a member of pogo from 2000 until just recetly (april 9th). I decided I was not going to renew my membership simply because I dont feel I should pay that much just to play games that I can play at other sites for free. I have never won anything other than the stupid wallpapers. I must have atleast 50 lol Ive never used 1.
I did find a site called BigFishGames.com it used to be a free site...now however they make you pay, but i went on it the other day and had to sign up again and i got a year free. Dont know why but thought you could check it out.

Well from what i have seen it is pretty much like pogo...there are different games on there though...I really feel there needs to be an Adult games site, no i dont mean adult adult lol i simply mean a site that the games are not for pre-schoolers.

I have never won anything on pogo, despite my actively playing since May of 2000. In the game rooms with the chat active, there used to be these "bots" popping in spamming the chatroom about helper sites & things like that, although now, the rooms seem quiet.
I never used any of the cheat thingies, & Have not been back as much when I first discovered sites that do actually pay. I started in on those since around June of 2001.
Also, I am right now beginning to feel that all these winners are all bogus. After 7 years of getting tokens, not hitting any actual jackpots, & using my earned tokens in various prize drawings, I am starting to wonder about this. All that it seems now is just one other way to relieve boredom.

yeah, i hear ya there.. but then after awhile.. the games get boring too, lol...
i think they have pretty much weeded out all the bots and idiots spamming useless crap.. but still.. the drama remains.. unfortunately, on the net it will always carry large amounts of drama.. everywhere you go...
any good paying sites you can recommend?

I agree pogos prices are way to high, but I still play there , Not as much as I used to tho. I play alot at cashbreak.com and gamepipe.com.As far as cheating I dont do that, seems like the ones that do always get caught and its just not my nature to cheat.

Ive been a pogo member for 3 years and never won a damn cent! I hear about the jackpot winners all the time, but do they really exist or is it just a way for Pogo to kep you as a customer?? I never use an automated program, but I know they are banned.

I've often wondered how many people I've asked people if they've ever won anything, and the answer was always a no. My hunch is that you have to be a paying pogo member to win. I've always been curious...why do people want the badges? And I also saw that you can buy things for your avatar. Why would anyone want to do that? What's the appeal?
I don't know anything about technology, so I'm wondering how the automated programs work. Do they work for all games or just games like the slot machines? And what is your motive for using the automated programs. I'm asking because I'm curious...no judgments.

well.. long long ago.. Pogo was AOL games.. back then they apparently used to allow it's members to use images or pictures.. but as you know that isn't allowed anymore.. so Pogo came up with the avatars.. mini's...
as for the cheat progs.. within a few weeks of each new game.. there was a cheat program somewhere.. but most all the games had programs made for them...
the motive for using them was to get tons of free tokens.. and you do get tons.. but tokens in my opinion suck.. and they should just revert to cash.. like everyone is appaarently starting to do now...
the Badges.. that was just something stupid to showoff i guess.. another waste of space, lol....

That is why I hope I never win something. I always thought they would come up with you cheated and then take away my pogo.oh just the thought lol. i do know people that have cheated. one of them did it cause they did not think a program could play poppit better than they could lol.
