Do you find that flylady has helped you? Do you really do the routines, and get dressed to the shoes? What is your daily schedule like?

I discovered flylady about 2 years ago, and I have been on and off when it comes to following her system. I have to admit I'm not entirely religious in obeying her schedule, but most of her processes are quite useful.
I believe flylady's system is not meant to be an inflexible way to do things, but a guide that you adapt to your own needs. I believe in making my bed and doing the routines. I do not put on shoes at home, but I dressed up for work. I do not do the swish and swipe, but I boogie my rooms and cars.
I think flylady is a great system for anybody who is struggling in organizing a home or is inexperiencing in keeping one. Just remember, its all about babysteps and it doesn't have to be perfect.

I recently started using the note card system by Pam and Peggy {"Sidetracked home executives: from pigpen to paradise", which is what got FlyLady started on her thing. It is pretty much what FlyLady does only more interactive. I like it because it is more the way my mind works but it takes several hours to set up at best.
I did the routines and they worked for me. Something that people seem to not get about the FlyLady system is it is not meant to be used as is. You are supposed to customize the routines and tasks to suite your life. I never consistently did the dressed to shoes thing but I started getting dressed with out shoes consistently. The first step in every room is to declutter. Getting rid of things so you can organize the things you need, use and love. Once you do that it really does get much easier to do the cleaning and organizing parts.
