i love the old avril....

Yeah, I liked her old songs better. They're more catchy and I can easily relate to them before. Her image was more cooler and tougher. She had her own style. I think right now she's becoming more girly? Totally not my type. Hmm... Maybe we should just let her grow on us, give her a chance?

Uhhmm... I like Avril's sons because I can relate to most of her songs.. With her current image, I don't know... Well I didn't like it, to tell yah frankly. Oh well.. I like her sons, but the latest? No.

I watched the video, well, she has two personality the nerd one and the other one trying to replace the girlfriend of a guy. well, i don't think its cool. I want more the old avril that rocks.

i agree with you nimette. i like the way avril commands on attention as a punk princess with all those attitudes and mature songs. i didn't expect her to be a 'candy-girl' singer after all those yaers that she disappeared from the music scene. she's married! she must depict maturity rather than being a sissy or something

Guess her marriage makes her more on the softer side nowdays...and yeah I don't expect she will go with the pink colour...that's so not punk! Saw her MTV-Live in Paris few days back...ermm I think I prefer her songs and image from the previous two albums. She's so lovable to hate anyway...sigh!

I never really pay attention to the artist themselves much, if I like their songs I will download it but if not then i wont. Avril has had a good run but only some of her songs I can really relate to. She is a beautiful young lady in a very demanding industry and has a lot of compatitiion and a lot of people to please and I understand that she has to every so often change her looks and style to meet new fads and images.

I know only the first album of Avril and it's grat! I haven't saw other videos.

Avril had been very cool since she step in as a rocker or sk8tr girl. But then, all of us needs to grow maybe she needs something new to make her fully. So imagine a rocker dance can you believe it? i do, coz not all rockers can dance like her! No matter what makes her different from the others she's still the coolest girl that rockz yeah! ;P

I love the old and the new one just the same. I think an artist needs to change her image from time to time to give a fresher image to their audience every now and then. The previous Avril was darker and the new one is more fun and energetic. I guess it's just different phrase in her life and in her music career. I could see that she is happier in her life too, which is good! Oh I think the "girlfriend" song is quite high school, but it's very light and it gives me a smile everytime I listen to it. Indeed, I quite like the dark hair avril in the video too! Change is not necessarily bad.

yup! i agree on you... I do not appreciate avril no more because she has changed her lifestyle... the way she dresses... the way she sings... I thought that she was the naughty type of girl on the block... meddling on anything... but now I think she's not the avril that I've known and idolized!

i also love the old avril... i started loving avril when i heard her song "happy ending", then i saw its mtv. it was very cool... from then on, i started listening to her music. i love her style, especially the cap and necktie. then i was shocked when i heard that avril is kinda engaged... i was sad... then after some time i heard that avril cahnged, from being the punk princess into a royal princess. i was sad, many people loved her as the punk proncess then in just a snap... hayyy!!! on her latest single, it was kinda cute but is was so girly, i miss the old avril...
