I recently moved down to Mississippi (work situation) and my sister lives in Illinois (along with the rest of my family). We hardly speak and it makes me sad, because we were close in our younger years. She is married with a child, and i live with a roommate and my three cats.(lol) I can't wait to move back to Chicago and be closer to my family, sister, and friends. I question almost daily why i moved down south and i know i won't stay for very much longer. The south is definitely different than the north, that's for sure. Also i'm located in a small town, and i originate from "the big city". Don't really care for what a small town offers. I hope to see my sister again soon, and talk more frequently with her.

I am happy to say that no matter where I go, my twin sister and I will always keep in contact, even if it means emailing, texting, calling or writing a letter. She lives in New Zealand and we recently moved to the USA. We have always been close and have never really had any arguements or disagreements between us. I miss her everyday but to know that I can call her up anytime and talk to her, or text her or even send her a letter/postcard, makes me feel like I haven't left NZ at all. Why don't you start keeping in contact with her ..try sending a postcard or letter, or text if you both have cell phones. See how it goes :) hope you are able to resume contact with her.

I feel for you. My sister and I have always been very close as well. She only lives about 45 miles away from me, but with her three almost teenage children and my 3 young girls, we never seem to get to spend any time together. I'm opposite you though, I'm from a very small (one traffic light) town and I can't imagine living in a large town. I hope that you will be reunited with your sister again soon.
