Yah sometimes i do that... but most of the time i have my chin up because i might bump on somebody... It is not good too to look down while you're walking, especially when crossing the streets, you might get hit by those automobiles...And yes you're right about what you've wrote, we must always stand with our chin up...

Depends whether the weather is hospitable or hostile. In winter I usually pay attention to the ground I'm walking on, but in summer I try more to observe my surroundings so as to map out an area more accurately within my mind. I've given up caring what people think about walking with their heads looking forward, especially in winter... if people wish to slip on the ice every few seconds, that's their deal, but personally I rather not.

People walking with their head down can either that they're insecure, out of habit and just plain shy. We can't control the way they like to walk though. I seldom see people walking with their head down. I'm kind of tall so all I can see are mostly their heads. I don't pay much attention to their heads either.

I don't put my head while walking specially if you're crossing on a street. Only mentally ill person do that and people who are busy texting while on the street.
