Are you a Windows or a Linux user? I use both operating systems, and I think they're both really good, although Windows has a lot of bugs and it isn't secure at all.
Linux is free, but Windows is compatible to most hardware and software.
Linux is opensource, and Windows is made by Microsoft.
Windows is the best operating system for games, and Linux does not have a lot of (good) games.
Windows is very easy to use, but Linux is a lot more secure.
What's your opinion? Have you ever used Linux? Do you prefer Windows? Do you like them both?

I'm in a point in my life where I've grown out of games. Linux looks more and more inviting because it's free. Linux is both user friendly and resource friendly. Although I'm still using Windows XP. Maybe it would be a good time to jump to Linux because my hardware can't handle Vista's requirements.
A problem i have is choosing the best distribution out there. I've heard that Ubuntu, Fedora, Suse and Knoppix are all good :)

Ubuntu is a very good distribution, especially for Windows users that aren't used to Linux.

I only use windows. Like you I would like to have both on my computer but I am afraid Linux is hard to install and it will take a lot of room on my computer. I would like at least try but I have no clue where to start and if you need to have computer skills to install Linux.
You seem to know a lot about the two operating systems.
