I like scrying of all kinds, but I can use tarot cards also. I prefer water or mirror scrying, but I also have a pendulum, which I can carry around with me at all times. I've had success with all of these tools, but haven't done a tarot reading for anybody else yet. I'm not sure that I'm confident enough to read for strangers, but I might practice on a few friends first. :-) Naturally, I've done my own readings, and each time they've been accurate, but that's really only practice and assurance that you can actually do it. I have just two sets of tarot cards, different of course.
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

i've never try scrying before :( but I've use I-Ching before using 3 coins of the exact nominal. I've using sensing the object auras before to find object and it worked but never use scrying before I don't have the tools and they don't sell the tools in here :(

i have a golden dawn pack i love.
it seemed the most attuned to me.
i had an egyptian themed tarot before that never seemed it was "mine".probably because of how i came by it (gift from an ex).

I use the tarot cards. They are something that I have always felt drawn to, but it is only in recent years that I have learnt (or should that be trusted my own knowledge) how to use them. I also like to use the angel cards for more personal questions that I have.

I have a set of tarot cards thatI got back in, oh...1984 thatI use every once in awhile. I use the Celtic 10 block system to read them, but have no idea what 'type' of cards they are.

I'm more into Astrology but usually I combine them with numerology because I never carry around the Moon Sign & Ascendant Sign Table so if I only use Zodiac sign that would be +/- 30% correct. That's why I combine with Numerology more accurate if predicting people's nature :D Btw I use astrology and numerology not to predict the future but only to find out about myself and other people's nature :)

I usually use the Tarot cards to help me focus ( i use the Vision tarot which uses images form real photographs of natural scenarios and persons ) that really helps me focusing my "sight" . From there, once I am sure I am connecting right I usually let my intuition guide me. So i would say my favourite divinatory tool os my mind which I train and "work-out" thru Tarot Cards

I've never used rune stones but I have read about them. They sound fascinating and maybe some day I'll get the chance to try them. Right now I prefer tarot cards. I have two decks but prefer the Lord of the Rings deck my sister gave me. I have heard that a deck should always be given, it's better luck or something but I don't know how true that is.

Thanks. I didn't know where it came from but I had heard it. I don't neccessarily believe in the luck aspect on it but it is a nice tradition to think on. To give someone else a set they like or cannot afford.

Actually that advice seems to have came out of the days when Tarot decks were rare. Until the mid-80's for instance, it was impossible to have a Golden Dawn deck unless you knew someone in the Order (or one of its offshoots). Even today, the commerical decks are not colored right, or at least according to the tradition of the lodge I belong to.
There is also the energetic aspect to it--it is easier to start with a charged deck than a "cold" one. Some newbies just can't figure out how to charge a deck on their own and give up long before they succeed.

The only forms of divination I've ever used have been tarot cards. I wouldn't mind getting my hand on some runes myself, then again I could always make myself a set and I wouldn't have to worry about buying anything. I use a deck called the wicca pack..which is a book and set of cards and I've really had some interesting readings with them. They've all seemed to be rather accurate.

My main forms of divination are my eyes and my ears and my nose....:}...that is of course because I have not other way of doing it....lol. I often wish I could see the future but then it would take all the fun out of the present.

I always use Tarot Cards. I have had my deck for years. My readings are for the most part right on the nose. I have tried other types of divination , but I feel more comfortable with my cards.

I love my decks of cards too...I know one friend who is just plain scared of them...a lot of people panic for instance if the Devil or Tower of Destruction show up...actually the worse cards to come up are any of the swords....they can be really dismal...

I use my tarot cards everyday and always take my pendulum into work for yes and no answers (I am a professional reader btw).

Time available and place affect some of the ones I use. My favorites are a talking board (kinda like a ouija board), tarot cards, pendulum and stonecasting. I carry my pendulum and three of my casting stones (for yes-no answers) with me everywhere. They ca be used on the spot with little room, no table needed. I would hate to give up all but one, as different ones serve different purposes for me. I don't follow astrology closely, though my chart is amazingly accurate in describing my spirit.

One of my favorite Tarot decks is The Ancient Egyptian Tarot by Clive Barrett. The art work on the cards is absolutely beauitful. My Two favorite cards are the Strength card which depicts the Goddess Sekhmet in the desert & the six of cups which depicts the Goddess Bastet in a glade in a wodde area near the Nile river. However all of the cards are beautiful.
