Do you believe in reincarnation and have you ever had past life regression?

I can't exactly tell you when I began believing in reincarnation...it seems I've ALWAYS believed in it. I would love to maybe get a past life regression thing but it seems a little frightening to me..what if one of my lives wasn't so wonderful..I would wonder if as I came back to my present life, that a part of that negative life would cling to me...I do remember hearing though that sometimes the various periods of history you love may be indicators of a time you did actuallyl live in

Then I must have been around a few times because I can name some periods that I am drawn to...oh wait...that was another discussion.
Yes, to answer your question, I believe in reincarnation.
But when I was very young...I questioned where we came from. Of course I got the generic living in a Christian home and I just was not happy with it.
Then I figured I would try to go back in my head to my earliest memory and then tried to push beyond that. I often ended up crying because it was just darkness and nothing. But that was when I decided that we came from somewhere and ended up going somewhere again. Even if we came back to try again.
But that was called reincarnation...and at the time, I didn't even know there was such a word. :) LOL
I just figured that we were not suppose to know because it would change what we did here and now. So, I have never tried past life regression. I fear it would or could interfere with my now. :)
Great discussion! :)

I just kind of indicated that earlier--while I would love to do a regression thing...I would be afraid of it at the same time...I just don't think we're meant to remember our past lives, since it would negate the good of our present life and the lesson we're supposed to learn now in this one...There are a few people that do naturally remember their past lives though...I did read a series of books by Joan Grant...she wrote them as novels but they were really rememberances of her former lives..and most of them took place in yours and mine favorite period...ancient Egypt.

i do believe in past life regression. I have had this done a few times under hypnosis and it certainly gave me food for thought. According to my beliefs we are all on earth to learn. Any lessons we are not able to learn in this life, we will get another chance in the next life. Only when we have become a perfect being do we return to spirit.
Clearly, i think we do associate with periods in history that mean something to us even when we are not sure why. I would recomend past life regression to anyone. However, not everyone gets results, those who are at the start of a long learning journey have nothing to regress to. I personally believe the sceptics are the young souls, because to them there can be no regression, but over the centuries, even these people will learn
blessed be

That's what I have heard countless times..that the whole purpose to reincarnation is to learn some lesson in life..and with each life we get closer and closer to perfection to the point where we no longer need to incarnate...all I know is, is that I must be a very old soul..maybe that's why I'm drawn to certain periods of the past.
That's an interesting point you bring up...that the skeptics are those who are young souls...never thought of that...Also, I guess there also some who go through many lifetimes, and never learned the lesson they were supposed to learn...so in essence back to the drawing board..they have to start all over again.

I do too and I have pretty much since I ever heard the term. I think it's very logical that we would come in and experience all different kinds of lives to learn from them. I think we choose each life we come into down to the last detail - for learning. And I believe that if you are attracted to a certain place and or time period that it is a strong possibility that you lived there or during that time.
I haven't had a past life regression but I would love to have one one day. I think it could really give me some answers on my biggest fear and hopefully get rid of it - tornadoes/ bad storms. I think it would be completely interesting to see what all lives I lived and it what times. But I will be very particular about who I get to do the regression. I think I'd just about only trust Sylvia's ministers or herself though to do it. I'm weary about any kind of hypnosis cause some lead people and that is not what I want cause it wouldn't be right.

Well, this may be long, but here are my thoughts on reincarnation. I believe we are all given a certain amount of lives depending on the quality of lives we live, as in very good,or very bad lives. You are given chances to redeem yourself for your actions so to speak. I believe we all have soul mates as well, souls we cling to within every life to be our companion. I feel that those left alone, their soul mates's lives have ended because they accomplished their duties, such as living a happy and healthy lifestyle, honest , moral bound, faithful, loving and caring of others, following their faith, ect. I believe that once you start reaching the end of your lives, that is when you start to recollect on your past lives, which is what my husband does. He remembers things from thousands of years ago, has dreams and even flashbacks of actually being there. I believe his soul will die before mine and that I will live out the rest of my lives alone. So there you go, there are a few of my views on reincarnation.

I was taught in Physics lessons, energy cannot be created or destroyed, it just changes form.
I beleive in reincarnation, and would love to have a regression as I remember some stuff.
I also beleive in physical reincarnation.
the body takes new forms and lives again.

That was a milestone for me when I came across that law of physics years and years ago--I've believed in reincarnation it seems forever..and when I'd be asked why...I just couldn't give and answer--and then good ole physics came along--and when I came across that law of physics it was like --bingo--that is the answer-- energy or matter (our soul) cannot be created nor destroyed..it just changes form (our physical bodies) How perfect!!!
Of course, another question I'd get about reincarnation would be--well there are so many more people now--how can the same people be reincarnating--My answer?? Who says you have to reincarnate only on this Earth? I also firmly believe that life does exist elsewhere in the universe--it would be real smug of us to think that we are the only planet with living entities on it..Maybe that could explain, why you have people being born here that are so much more intelligently advanced...in their previous lives they came from a place where there was higher intelligence--mmm..possible..no?

I believe in a lot of things. I do believe that reincarnation is possible. If anyone can recommend a really great past life regression exercise, I'd love to know about it.

Do you believe in reincarnation......No!
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto savation. Hebrews 9:27-28
I believe in the resurrection; it's the truth of EASTER.

I definitely believe in reincarnation. I believe we live many lives. I think what they say is true, we keep coming back until we get it right.

I totally believe in reincarnation, and I've been thinking awhile about having a past life regression.
I think the one thing holding me back is wanting to find someone who specializes in that so I know I'm in good hands. If I had the money and I lived in the States, I'd book with Sylvia Browne. She is an amazing lady.
I have my suspicions about at least ONE of my past lives but nothing is certain - not yet anyway.
As far as having negatives cling to you, I don't think thats necessarily true. They say that something you are afraid of in THIS life may actually be because of something that happened to you in a past life.
Bringing it to the front during regression means that you can actually shed that fear and no longer be afraid of it. I think that sounds pretty cool.

I have an open mind about reincarnation. I have had a past life regression, but it didn't seem real. I had a psychic tell me about 3 past lives once, and they all fit very closely to my interests and feelings and she didn't know me from Adam. My most distinctive feeling about reincarnation was experienced when I went to Scotland. As soon as I set foot on the ground there, I felt I had come "Home." Ehen I left, I left my heart behind. I think reincarnation answers a lot of questions. I do have some reservations about the idea, tho. And I'm not sure how it fits in with my Christian faith.
