if she's REALLY worth fighting for then stay with her. by the way, have you asked them why they didnt like her? there's probably some kind of reason. and come on she's just your girlfriend, your not going to to marry her just yet right?

As "parents" I assume you are referring (at least largely) to your Mom? Moms are like that. They are so very protective of their sons that they think nobody will ever care and shower love for their son like they do (which in some context is true). Your Mom most probably do not like your girl friend not because of her per se but because of here fear of you not getting the best. I have suffered several hard times introducing my girl friends to my Mom. Nothing in any girl ever satisfy her. I even sometimes jokingly mention to her that I susspect she probably is jealous beacause now I have another woman in my life. She just laugh that off. Anyway, just let your mom criticize you GF. She is after all your mom. Talk to your GF and make her understand. Adjust a bit and you and your GF will fit in just nicely in your Mom's life. Good Luck!

you have to talk to your parents about your girlfriend, tell them that you really love your girlfriend, and that you're willing to fight for her even if your parents disapprove... Love is all about taking the risk!
