Mine's the copper IUD. I think i've suffered discomfort a few times after i have it inserted. Now, i'm into my 2nd year.

yes, it will has some side effect after inserted copper IUD. But you should take indomethacin after inserted IUD. Now there is IUD with copper and indomethacin

I don't need to take anything else. My gynae just inserted and i'm fine. What side effects do you know? Or have you experienced any? - Lyn

the side effect includes: pain , bleeding and other effects. I am a man, lol but we manufacture the IUD.

I just got the Mirena IUD placed last week everything is great so far. I also had the Paraguard before I got pg with my 2 month old. The paraguard made me have heavy periods.
