Jagjit Singh is a legendary and a king without crown of Indian Gazals. He is a maestro. He is, in real sense, the one and only Gazal Samrat. Please continue this discussion with your valuable views.

I dont think that jagjit singh has any replacement he is the only master of his art...and also asyoung talent is not intersted in makind thier careers in ghazalas..so it makes it a little bit more difficult....

Jagjit Singh is a rightly said king without crown of Indian Ghazals. i would rather take word Indian out of here as there is no other Ghazal singer like Jagjit. He has a sad voice that is most suited to Ghazal singing and the likes of classical singer like ghulam ali and abida parveen lag behind jagjit because of his voice only. I do not think that anybody could take jagjit's place. He to ghazal singing is like kishore was to bollywood. Both can never have any match.
