I currently have a Motorolla cellphone but I used to have a Nokia years ago. With so much new phones out in the market, it's very difficult to choose the best. I just want a phone that's worth my money. Any suggestions?

i would suggest a nokia if you are looking for a better battery , i've seen many friends and relatives who have used motorola before and had a problem with it, if you are looking for quality of sound for playing songs, a sony erricson has an edge over nokia, if you are looking for phones exclusively used for business, i would suggest nokia e series, many of my friends have been using it for the past year or so and are fairly happy with it

Yeah you're right, Motorola batteries only last a few hours so you have to keep on recharging. The only thing I don't like about Nokia cellphones is that they're expensive when new but the prices depreciate very fast so you can't sell your phone for a decent price. I haven't tried using Sony erricson since I donth think they're user friendly.

I have had several Nokia Phones already. Right now, i have the N70 Classic Edition. I am a music lover, but i chose the Classic Edition over the Music one since Nokia Batteries don't last very long. I would have to disagree with one of the responses here saying the Nokia Batteries are good and all that. Nokia batteries don't last that long since they are in constant use. It won't take that long for you to buy a new one already.
anyway, going back to the buying a new phone thing, if you have the money, go for the Nokia N-series phones. I chose the N70 primarily because it has two cameras i can use. Picture quality is great and the features are quite attractive as well. Though the value of Nokia phones depreciates quite fast over here in the Philippines but that doesn't really matter if you are into one phone only.

buddy dont go for the N-Series, i think there are enough of them and also now buying an N-Series phone its not worth it.
why dont u stick to motorola or may be a Sony Ericcson phone.
Ericsson has cool music phones.
in case of nokia i would love to have a communicator.

i think it will really depend on what you really want or need.
if you have the budget, i think you should get the latest nokia model, the n series (n70, n80, n90) they have good camera (high megapixel, 3G capabilities and sleek design. there are various editions of these camphones. or better yet, you could go to nokia website to compare models, they have an online tool there where you can choose phone models and they give a comparison. they also have pictures there so you can see if you like the phone's design and they also show you the phone's features. Alternately if there is a nokia care in your place, you can go there and you will also find the actual phones there and see for yourself the phones available.

I have a nokia n70 cellphone. I like it because of it's looks, it's 2mega pixell camera, the bluetooth and the 3G capability. Every month there is a new cellphone model coming out of the market so the best now will not be tomorrow. I guess what ever you choose Motorolla, Nokia and Sony-Erricson will be worth your money. Regards.

If i buy a phone i will look into this factors, price, purpose, accessories and resell value. Check how much is your budget, then hunt around. You will find some that is within the budget. Now ask yourself what will you do with the phone, mostly text? mms? or call? show off? It will determine factors such as battery life, user interface and speed (for text). Nokia is an all rounder as far as i know. As for the rest, you will get an idea once you shortlisted some phone models.
