MSN or ICQ ?

Well, Completely agree with you. I prtefer MSN over the counterpart. It has got some beautiful avatars, which I can customise according to my tastes. It has got better selection, search engine, which makes my task easy and swift. So if you are asking me for a vote where I am comparing MSN with any one else, I would just close my eyes and go for MSN in one single shot.

I must admit I never thought of this, what is the best online instant messenger software. I must say also that I am not using ICQ and I never did, so I guess I cannot say how is it. I have used a little MSN and I still have an active username but I am barely loging it on. I usually use Yahoo Messenger because in the area where I live it is widely used and over 90% of the persons I know use this one. And, another thing I must add is that I barely stop to think or notice the difference between these softwares. I am using them just for their own purpose and that it to communicate with someone.

I use more MSN, however I find better ICQ, with more resources.I work with recording Studio,They are few people that work with ICQ and for that more use MSN.I also find much better the design of MSN than ICQ.

I prefer MSN over ICQ, i haven't used ICQ in over 6-7 while i've still kept MSN...the reason being that all my friends have MSN, in my country it took off more than ICQ (around 2001 ICQ was the king in popularity, however it declined, and even then i remember MSN being a competitor!) It's not the sole reason i like it tho, i must say i like the design of MSN a whole lot more, it's more familiar to me!

I'M a chinese ,in china ,most people like QQ(it's one of the icq).because the msn is not very good for us.We are chinese ,not american.
