I think i can speak of the subject because i personally was into Depression some time back after a broken relationship. I had literally turned into a Monster those days with my work and other relationships suffering because of it. But thanks to my friends who supported me through my ordeal.. i was presented with some good books to read, some nice music and my friends made me feel that i am wanted and encouraged me to indulge in my passions. Some of my best pictures painted are while i was into depression. I did Yoga... and i analysed my behaviour and about what went wrong in my relationship and made amends.I can say i am a stronger person now.

good yaar, i am happy to see u the happy person. No comments on this front, as it seems to be a personal front and doesnt wants to talk in this regards, its a cyclic behaviourism of human beings and it happens in general when the things goes out of control , as it takes a toll and the behaviour also gets reflected when things goes wrong in a series. In my opinon, one need to do a self audit and check what went wrong and where can be rectified throught prper exercise, yoga, slow music can help you to feel better and the books can help to understand things in a better way, but at the end of the day , its depends on an individual how he changes oneself.

A lot of experts feel that depression is more than just a mood disorder, it can be termed as a real illness that not only affects one's mood and thoughts but also appetite, sleep patterns and one's self esteem. It can cause you to function abnormal and can lead to further diseases and disorders.
It may also involve physical symptoms, such as stomach pains, headaches and rapid heartbeat. There are several different types of depression, so you will hear terms like major depression, endogenous depression, chronic depression, and so on. These terms tend to describe the predominant symptoms, their severity or their duration. I think one needs to be more focussed on the type of depression while really looking for a solution and the really causes behind it.
