What makes Carrie Underwood unique?

I think what sets Carrie apart and what made America and the rest of the world fall in love with her is she is the genuine article. She is very, very talented and she still hasn't given in to Hollywood. At least, not yet. She seems very much herself. Is not yet jaded or guarded. I hope she holds on to who she is even if she has to polish her outer self a bit. Because I'd hate to see the day when I look for her in a crowd and she looks, sounds, acts like every other trashy, stupid blond with nothing really to say.
