what's the image of china in the foreigners' eyes?

i don't know what is the image of china in the foreigner' eyes.i really want to know how the foriegners think of china.there are many rummors said that the chinese image is very bad in the international community.i don't know why.especially in the foreign forum http://www.mylot.com/?ref=liangrifle, i find that chinese image is not good in the foreigners' eyes.i feel sad about it.i don't know what's wrong with my country.

I love China, I used to dream about her years ago, now I am married to one, I cannot wait to go there. But I only hope the Chinese will start adopting some of their old traditional values, and not give them all up in the name of so called progress, please don't swap the tea house for mcdonald's lol. I will be mortified at the thought, and Starbucks should not be in the Forbidden City lol..Everything has a place.

i don't think that the foreign nations have some bad image thing baout china. here in the philippines where almost half of the population are chinese, i must say that they are really hard working people and good businessman. they are really a people who deserve what they get for their effort on work. ahm, may i ask if you are a chinese? he he i think yes, if not why ask this topic right?

yes , you are so right . chinese people are hard working , and , not such troublesome people . they are easy going . chinese people are nice people , some foreiners have some misunderstood about china , about chinese , because there are some cultrue gap which stop them from understand chinese better ,their words , the way they behave . they are some some foreinor who do not like chinese are just plain arrogeent

I think I am right to place the word "almost" in that sentence... in Binondo you can see many chinese men and I am not generalizing the Filipinos for I am also one and I'm proud to be one. Sorry for giving you the wrong idea there.
