True friends VS Best friends

Which of the two do you prefer to have? I would choose a true friend.. Are all best friends are true friends at the same time?

I can only relate to best friends at being true friends. If you're not a true friend there's no way I would class you as a best friend. The other thing that may sound weird about me is, although I've always had a few friends I've always maintained that you're far further ahead to have one best friend/true friend than to have 20 friends you weren't sure of. This is just my opinion of course.

a best friend and a true friend is supposed to be the same thing, if a person isn't a true friend they should never be your best friend, because best friend means best of all your friends.
