Which of the two do you want to meet? I prefer true friends. Do all best friends are true friends at the same time?

Best friends are not all time true friend .I was some time beafore best friend with a girl for 20 years but after this time all is change. She was my best friend but not and my true friend. When we have a problem they run and forgate about friendship.
Now i don't belive in true friend ,for my is only family. The family are true friends.

I think they both are alike. Best friends are also known as true friend because once a person become your best friend it means that you trust her whole heartedly and share anything to them and tells you whats right and wrong and no matter what happen always there for you. And also they never let you down and betrays you. Tells you the truth even if it will hurt you. I think that's a true friend no secrets to keep.

I believe a best friend should be a true friend, which is why s/he should get that title above all others. A poster in this discussion said that family are true friends. Although I agree that that should always be case, it's not always true. Some people are lucky enough to have a great support system in their real families that care about them, always doing what they can to be there for them and help them. Those are lucky to consider them real friends that will be there no matter what path their life ends up on. Other people have dysfunction or toxic families and because of that, turn to their friends that become their families.
No matter what a person's particular circumstance, true friends are special and few in life. As such, the title of best friend should be held by that person who exhibits the character and qualities of a real friend. A best friend can be your mom, your father, your highschool classmate, college roommate, sister, etc. It's a special bond and one I hope everyone has a chance to experience in their lifetime.
All the best,
