Just Lolita? I don't think you're giving 3121 a fair judgment here ma'am. 3121 is a really cool album.
3121, The title track is way too cool and way too funny.
Te Amo Corazon, is heart touching and a very mild tune.
Black Sweat, is the BEST track on the album!
Incense and Candles is a very sexy song.
Love is catchy one indeed!!
The Word, is like just WOW!
I think you should give 3121 another chance ;)

I listen to it a lot. It's just that I think I'm more "old school" Prince. I did find that the louder the volume the better it is. Comparing it too Purple Rain though it's just "OK". I loved the pictures in it though!

I see where you're coming from being an old school Prince fan. But the man changed since purple rain and that was 1985 - present.
Most don't accept OR do not wish to accept his musical evolution. One has to evolve sometime. I agree, Prince evolved TOO FAST for us.
Back to 3121...yes, it sounds COOL with a pumped volume! I forget to mention "satisfied" sounds perfect with a candle light dinner ;)

Well I suppose I should have explained my reason for being "slow to evolve"! I was only 6 in 1985. I didn't discover how much I liked Prince until about 6 years ago. As fast as Prince changes I've had a lot to cram in in such a short time. I started at the beginning and am working my way through. I guess 3121 was just a little to "modern" for what I was ready for LOL! It's growing on me though.
