weddings... are you ready to MARRY?

i am turning 35 this September and even i am scared of it. I am not sure if my previous failed relationship that didn't end up with marriage is what got me scared of real commitment, but just the thought of being tied to someone for the rest of your life without assurance that it will turn out right between the two of you gives me the creeps. i also have a loving boyfriend who has expressed his intentions of settling down with me, who i also love so much and would want to spend the rest of my life with. but it is just scary. not that i am discouraging you. but aside from your being young, you really have to take marriage seriously and make sure you are prepared for it. plus the fact that you have to secure your own future, and by this i mean, you as an independent person, so that when you do get married, you have your own money to spend on your own needs and not rely on your husband's income.
