what is the number beside your profile name?

what is the number that you see beside your profile name in brackets!??is it the number of friends in my list or else the number of posts i have submitted!!please tell me what is it??thanks in advance!

The number within the brackets indicates the number of points that we have got on this Mylot web site . The points increase by one for each valid response that we post for other members discussions . The points are known as "user ratings" on this Mylot web site .

the number besides your profile is the number of how many posted u have made.my number is 10.the number can increase or decrease depends on how active you are in posting in mylot.
