it all started when during my early 20s i worked with this local bank here in the Philippines, and the local banking community organized a sportsfest, then there was this event in running where we nearly failed to join in, if not for the insistent co-employees of mine who cheered me up and volunteered for me our bank would not be represented. at first i was really honestly scared not of losing but if i stumble and fall on the track that would be very funny and very embarasing --- i thought then! but because of the great need at that time, without much hesitation, i gave in to their making me run! but lo! i can't believe it myself, i won 2 events--- a gold in 100-M dash and a silver in 200-M dash, and can you imagine --- me running on that day on barefoot! Now, i believe that there is this inner power between us that sometimes we can't imagine if we can make it manifest in good results. The only thing we need to do is just doing our best and the rest will follow! A while back, just to add to my lenten season sacrifice, i ran 10 kilometers here in our little city of Dumaguete, philippines! I could not resist it any longer, that if there are running competition, i do not wait for others to volunteer for me now! how about you? can you take one step and more! let's run for fun and good health too!

Well running if very tiring for me. well, im 95Kgs.. my knees can't take the impact. but i remember when i was in the philippine navy, we used to run 15K every morning. I'm always feel i'm going to die after the run but back then even if i ate 3 cups of rive every meal including breakfast, i only weigh 75Kgs. that's my best shape. You know what! you inspired me. I think I would run again. not like before for 15K.. I try to go a couple of round our neighborhood. keep in touch!

well friend, i'm grateful that you're 1 of us --- running buffs! i have also a friend who weighed few more kilos than you... and as he ran with us every sunday (coz its our group run sched) we also kept his running pace so its he whose the pacer--- what happen now is that he improves his pacing and he lost few fats! although i may not be weighing like you, may i share this to you: just run according to your own comfort zone as of now, but do this thru road runs (choose a road that is not heavily traffic) do it constantly for a week and try to see the difference if you still like the same pace for next week!
