When I we see our total earnings take a dip it usually alerts us that myLot has gone back and deleted one of your old inactive discussions right? Well why do our earnings dip like that, we have already long since been paid for posting and the responses to that post so are they taking back monies that they already paid us for a discussion that didn't violate any rules except for the becoming inactive thing?

yesterday, I found my total amount of posts was decreased by 4, but my earnings did not change. I experienced a deduction of earnings once several months ago, and at that time, the earnings are decreased while my post amount did not show any change. so I am still not sure what happened.
I think it is necessary for mylot to delete some low quality discussions to keep this forum clean.
I don't think mylot delete some inactive discussions, you know, one of my discussion have not got any response for several month, but it is still there. ya, just several days ago, one of my friends posted a response to that discussion, and its lonely life ended.^_^
have a great day!

That's cool. There is something to be said for those lost and lonely orphan posts.

Mylot doesn't delete old discussions for any reason except for violating the rules. If your earnings go down it's because either one of your discussions was deleted for a violation, or you replied to one that was deleted. A good personal rule is not to respond to discussions that are clearly a violation because then you will lose your points and income. It helps to really know the rules so you can stay away from the bad discussions.

That is good advice tha you. I am certain however in the FAQ's it mentions the removal of post when they become inactive.
