How do you think about "Multi-national Marriage" ? Is it destined to ill-fated?

I am interested in talking this subject, and also welcome everyone to enter in discussion. In China, it is said that multi-national marriage is destined to be unfortunate in the end due to different culture and custom. Such examples are often reported in Newspaper or TV etc. Though I think it sounds reasonable and seem to be worthy of reference for everyone like or having entered in multi-national marriage, I don't think it is absolutely!! How do you think? What's your opinion? Appreciated for your suggestion.
