Anyone know what is Limewire ? is it same as kazaa ?

I've tried both Kazaa and limewire and I'm much happier with limewire. I had some many virus issues when I was using Kazaa. I noticed that one of the other repliers mentioned that they got a virus off a limewire file but I haven't had any problems like that and I've been using limewire for quite a bit now to get music.

I've been using limewire for about 2yrs now. I think its one of the best for being user friendly, I dont think anything could be easier. The down side I find you cant always get the movies your looking for and a lot of times when you download them they're not what they say they are, if your looking for music they're great though. For downloading movies bitcomet i s really good . It's a little more complicated than lime wire but much better for movies.

I use to use limewire until I got a virus. i removed it and my son also said he got a virus from the site. I would be very careful with any of them.

I recommend not to download these two softwares. Kazaa and Limewire is a distributor of files that has virus and spyware. Did you know that almost 50% of virus infection to PC around the world is caused by the files downloaded through these softwares!? Trust me because it happened to me before. That time, I'm not really aware of the virus in this software. I installed limewire to my computer then I've download 3 songs. A few minutes afterwards, my computer slows down dramatically and suddenly crashed. I have used Limewire and Kazaa and I prefer Limewire over kazaa as it has less viruses and download is faster but if you are looking for a good download fast, no viruses and good quality music try out bearshare. It is good.It is also peer to peer.

Yeah right Limewire is same as kazaa but limewire is faster, easier to use, more functionality provided etc. Limelite is the No.1 among such type of tools now.I usually preferred this tools. The latest version of kazaa is doing well now.

I use limewire when I download music. It is free. And I don't make cds that often so that works for me.

i would say that limewire is better than kazaa. i've used both, and limewire definately works better!

try using bearshare guys. hehehe. i hate limewire, it slows down my pc everytime i download a file...better i uninstall it and change it to bearshare.
