What type of Restaurant Do you Enjoy

I've never been at a restaurant with live entertainment but I could surely like that. I love music and for the most part I've had to go to a bar to hear the music. I'm not a bar fly and I find the bars a bit to rowdy and noisy for me but I'd make the sacrafice in a minute to hear a good country band !!! I love my country music.

Most of the time when I go for dinning, it is with the family and I have two young kids, I will go for a children friendly restaurant. This way we will find is comfortable for eveyone, for kids and myself and there are food that is suitable for the kids as well..

I usually enjoy the quiet intimate style restaurant because you can enjoy a good meal ( hopefully) and a good conversation..There are of course exceptions and those would be when friends are all gathering to eat and cheer on a favorite team at a sports type eatery. Then I don't mind the noise and gaiety...because that's what you are there for. I'll keep my rant about my pet peeve in restaurants short...but it is the disrespectful use of cell phones in a restaurant that has the quiet type setting..I have had this happen all too frequently..you are deep in conversation and food..and the people next to you both get on their cell phones and carry on lengthy and loud conversations that are annoying and very distracting...again...in a sports bar you wouldn't be so bothered but I have no idea what people are thinking when they engage in this behavior in a "real" restaurant where the other patrons are quietly conversing...and the lively family style can be very fun if you have a good group and are all there for the good time!!! :)

A restaurant that plays very soft romantic music including good service. I don't like television in a restaurant, good music, good food and the lights of the restuarant should not be very bright it has to somewhat dim.

it depends on my mood.. i prefer a quiet setting with a formal ambience with my partner.. because when u r with ur partner, u need to talk.. n there u need a quiet & intimate restaurants

I like a resraurants that has a quiet environment ,so that i can has agood conversation with my friends!

I prefer the quiet type restaurant. I like to be able to hear our own conversations. I hate it when it is noisy with kids screaming all over the place. I like to have a nice romantic meal with my hubby. I don't want to have a shouting match just to be heard. If we want to listen to a live band then we will go to a pub later on after the meal.

I like quiet restaurants with soft music in the background that does not affect the serenity of the place but enhances the ambiance. Although a couple of times I had gone to a very crowded open restaurant where you actually eat under the stars and the moonlight. It was okay but not all the time. I don't like big band playing at all. I'm very picky when it comes to music and I feel that loud music ruins my appetite.

I prefer to go to a resaurant that serves mexican food. I prefer the restaurant to be roomy and spacious so everyone is not piled up on top of each other. I like to be able to sit and enjoy my meal with my family and talk to them in peace without having to yell also. I like to be able to eat my food in silence sometimes also. I don't like the restaurants that are very noisy. It makes me nervous. I do not like when people are sitting close to us either. It makes me feel uncomfortable when I am eating. I used to just get carry out because I do not like large crowds and I did not want to be stared at while eating.

I like nice, quiet resturants, I like to be able to talk with the people I eat with (or read a book in peace.) I do like the food at a few places that aren't so nice & quiet, so when I go to those places I try to go on off times.

I like to eat at quiet resturants but we usually can't find any here. I don't mind the sports restaurants here they don't get too rowdy. I think that it would be neat to see a band while eating but I have never had the chance to go to a resturant like this. I really hate going to restaurants that are soo loud that you can't even talk to the person you are with. It kind of defeats the purpose of going to eat with someone!

I will go to a place to sit quiet and talk if I'm meeting a friend.We do go for breakfast alot at a small busy diner cause I love the belgium waffles with strawberries and cream..Yummmmmy

I prefer a simple..yet natural place.. wherein you can have a peace in mind while eating .. gentle breeze of the surrounding.

I prefer the restaurants that have a bar in them, where you are unlikely to find kids. When my husband and I go out, it's to have some time together, and we leave our kids with a sitter. Obviously, going to a restaurant that was noisy with kids wouldn't be the ideal thing for that kind of evening. I won't eat at a restaurant with a television in the dining area. I can see having a television in the bar, but if it is loud enough to be heard in the dining area, it is disruptive and disturbing. I also don't eat where there's a band. If I want to hear a band, I go to a concert. I suppose I just don't like a lot of noise while I'm trying to have an enjoyable dinner, which for me, includes conversation and taking our time.

I too like a family style restaurant. The quality of the dishes should be very good. I quite on is prefered.

Since we don't have kids yet, me and my hubby still got for those quiet intimate restaurants. Although, last night, we got shafted..We went out for a nice dinner at Vinnie Gambini's, and ended up sitting next to a table with 6 kids, aged 4 to 12, who were talking loud, running around, and even skipping rope!!! My husband was about to go tell their parents to please watch their kids, but thank God, they left. I don't know, but that kind of restaurant isn't suited for young kids, if you ask me. Once in a while, we also enjoy sports restaurants, such as Cage aux sports or Roasters, to watch the big game on tv and eat tons of chicken wings...but unfortunately, we won't be going anytime soon...our team isn't making the stanley cup playoffs this year...major bummer...

You know I love eating out so I'm not too picky. I guess a family type restaurant the most cause I'm usually with my kids. Or a sports type restaurant cause the kids like that too.

I like family restaurnats because I almost always to go a restaurant with my 2 chidren and they are not quiet. When we go to a noisy place, their noise just seems to flow with everyone else's and it doesn't matter. Also at a family restaurant, it is expected that there will be children and peple do not stick their noses up when you walk in with children. I also like the types of foods served at most family restaurants because there is usually something for everyone to enjoy no matter what you general tastes are from the kids meals on up to adult meals that are different than what you would make at home.

I loathe family-style restaurants. If I wanted to hear children cry and stand in their seats throwing food, I would have stayed home and watched my own! The food is usually of mediocre quality as well. I prefer a quiet restaurant that has an excellent chef. When I dine out, I want to be able to converese with people at the table and not have to scream and get a headache to do so! Quiet dinner music is my prefenrece in terms of music. As you said, I like a piano player!

I like a quiet restaurant too but there must have music or live band because I not talk to much.I'd like to drink or eat more than conversation.oh sorry It joke but I love restaurant which have a live band.
