What do you like or dislike about the show?
I am going to miss Ando, and I don't like that the waitress died and Hiro couldn't go back to save her.
I am curious as to what will happen will the Cheerleader realize that the Peter she is going to find is her uncle?

I really enjoy watching the show too. Dh and I heard a promo though, that said there are 5 shows until the end. Does that mean that they will start a new "Book" next season? It would make sense, since it is on a comic book theme.
I was sad for Hiro, too, when he couldn't save the waitress. He is by far my favorite character on the show. I don't care much for Jessica/Niki character. I finally understand why she's there, but I just don't like her(them.)

I am not to thrilled with the Jessica/Niki character either, I liked her at first. Like her before her alter ego took over that is. I am still not sure if I get her role in the whole thing, unless like Syler she is to be a villian.
I am not sure that I like that they gave Syler that much power, but since Peter also absorbs abilities it is possible in time Peter could be a match for Syler, the twist with the curare, thought that as interesting.
Though someone that dangerous should be put down, he is to much of a psycho. Though I don't get why he kills those unless that is the only way he can gain their skills
Where Peter just has to meet them.

if they don't keep the same characters in the next "book" I suspect the characters will come back with a new book of their own, I mean they are to popular to be left hanging.
Like anything if it has enough interest then new stories evolve and are generated.
Yes I do remember pieces of the flashbacks with Sylar, and him being told he couldn't be of use, just that there had to have been something there for him to be contacted in the first place.
I would like more explainations also on how the group that the Cheerleader's father works for got started.
I wonder what happens when Hiro's father learns that Hiro is one of those with abilities?

I think Sylar kills his victims, because origianlly, he didn't have any power at all. Dr. Shuresh (sp?) tested him and told him that he wasn't "special." He kills, takes their brain, and then uses their power (I don't know exactly how he abosrbs their power--but it's something to do with DNA.)
Beacuse of the similarities between Peter and Sylar, I'm sure they are the ones have the final showdown on the final episode.
Do you think that they will keep the same Heros in the next "book?" I'm hoping they will as we've become so attached to them.

Heros is a really good show. It's pretty unpredictable and is always leaving you wanting more. Isn't that what a good show is all about?

I agree, the unexpected that keeps happening, and even when some of the things are predictable, they are done well, and the characters are good ones, that is key if you don't have good likable characters then people are not going to be as interested in their stories.
I look forward to seeing what is going to happen in the new season, and I am curious as to what may develop with skills for some of those who may appear.

I absolutly love Heroes. That show always leaves me with myu mouth gapped open. The surprise endings just gets me. This is a great show and I hope it lasts a long time. However looking at the big 3 networks history with science fiction movies I don't know if it will.

It is interesting how the three major networks have not bothered to air scifi, and yet these shows have been known to be so much a part of what people want, that they eventually become movies. Or "cult" classics.
I mean Star Trek was cancelled and it became a huge franchise, I wonder what Desilu, and NBC thought of that.
And I be NBC wished they had some claim on Star Trek for the seven seasons of TNG, DS9, Voyager.
SciFi does seem to keep coming back no matter what.
Lost in Space [tv series] , Planet of the Apes [movies, cartoon, and tv series], Babylon 5, had some tv movies and Crusade after the series ended.
The merchandising of many old sci fi series, show how they are money makers.
Though Heros should be interesting to see the evolution of it, and then will it be picked up Sci Fi channel already airs it.
The success and long running of such recent shows as Stargate should clue them in to keep it on the air.
Considering that www.nbc.com airs the episodes online and has the online comic to check out I think they are somewhat aware that this is something to hold onto for a little while at least.
