I found another discussion about this on another program and it's getting a lot of quality response, so I decided to use it here as well. Do you know the scriptural facts on heaven and hell? Is heaven where the angels sing and play harps? Is hell a place of fire and have a devil with a pitchfork? What are they and where are they? And what do they mean to you if you're a Christian?

Heaven is what we see above up high and it exists now while hell will be there on the last day when all will be judged and Satan and his angels and all those who disobeyed God will be thrown into.

Heaven is the dwelling place of God and Jesus. And no one has ever ascended to heaven other than Jesus (John 3:13).
When people die, they remain UNCONCIOUS in their graves and await the promised resurrection, judgement and rewards! We ARE NOT immortal and don't have immortal souls as so many think.
God ALONE is immortal (1 Tim.6:16).
Hell, in the bible, simply means the grave! And no- there is no fire burning right now and the devil is not in charge of it either.

You are RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
How wonderful it is to see some of the VERY FEW who have been blessed with the insight of discerning truth from error!
God Bless...

Heaven is going to be super fantastic. We are going to spend 1,000 years there with GOD, the angels and all of our brother and sisters in CHRIST. Then GOD is going to recreat the earth and the New Jerusalem will desend and we will live here in our Mansions which HE is creating for us. We will be able travel at will. We will have forever to get to know all our wonderful brother and sisters. I can't wait!!

Can you back this up with scriptures?
I think you're a slight bit mistaken on the where and the time.
Revelations is a little bit cloudy on it, but I believe if we research a little bit we can find the answers.
A time and a time and a half is how long?
