Absolutely, it will definitely affect the players performance for sure. Today, i saw on tv that some bcci official was stating that some players used to act in commercials till 2 o'clock night on the day before the cricket match and had to play in the morning 9 a.m. imagine how can that player perform on the field if he had not slept till 2 at night. And another thing is that imagine that if you are doing another part time job which is paying you more than your full time job, do you really concentrate on your full time job well. The same thing is happening here, players are paid more on their endorsements, hence their concentration is fully on that and hence losing interest in cricket.
