Sure we can exercise in our homes. I believe that it takes discipline to follow thru with an exercise regime at home though. It is very much like working from home. You must set a time and stick to it! Inviting a friend would be a tremendous help. That way when you are tempted to 'just take a day off' you CAN'T! :)

But dont you think that exercising in a gym is lot more different than exercising at our homes. We are not well equiped with the things such as various machines, weights that are required for a good workout.Ofcourse the aerobic part can be easily done at home with equal ease but reallt an atmosphere is only created when we go to a gym to exercise or workout whatever you want to call it.

I suppose this would depend on what fitness level you are. For instance....the 'average' person (this is my opinion so I apologize if I offend anyone) is not in need of a lot of fancy dancy expensive equipment. There are plenty of Yoga,Tae Bo, Aerobic, Dance videos....A weight bench and weight set is not all that spendy..especially when compared to a gym membership. If you are a body builder or something I imagine you would need more sophisticated equipment but for most of us...I think our own body weight and a few little weights and dedication are enough. Anyway, save your gym membership fees for a while and pretty soon you could set up your own gym! Ha Ha :)

Exercise - counting of steps
I do not go to gym for exercise often; I tried to exercise regularly of at least 3 days a week, but was not successful due to my work schedule. Most of the time if I exercise, I play sport like tennis to get fit. I have another set of exercise by walking 10,000 steps a day as my target. I used a pedometer to keep track of my steps. On an average, I made about 7,000 steps, and I will walk around the house to make the numbers
