Does it have to be new? If not try checking ebay and craigslist for a used one for cheap. Otheriwise I believe some of the sites like Dell sell refurbished laptops and they are usually in great shape and lots cheaper! I bought a Dell laptop that way years ago and it came looking brand new.

Look on http://www.tigerdirect.com and browse the laptops there. Some of them have rebates that you have to send in a form and proof of purchase for, but others don't. I've used them several times and have always had good results.
