I had a pda, but quickly found the screen too small to be useful for the spreadsheets I needed to use. I now have a laptop, and I use it for almost everything but graphics-intensive gaming.

Oh heck no, it's not too big. And the operating system is the same as my desktop computer's so file transfer is really simple on my wireless network. The PDA I had needed synchronizing software, and the versions of programs on it weren't always 100% compatible with the normal version on my desktop, etc. It was a royal pain the rear and not worth it at all. I'll take my laptop any day over a PDA.

i think pda is better coz of small size but there are limitations on its workin compared to laptop...

i'd like a laptop due to it's portablity. it can be carried to project site where you can store informations and use it to design things otherwise you might have to take picture or draw with free hands and later do it on the pc. it saves time and it's easy to use if there is no power.

i'd find laptop a lot better. you can do a lot of things in a laptop than on a pda. the only drawback is that a laptop is a lot bulky than a pda. but the purpose will always come on top

Obviously a laptop,in terms of power, screen size and other features.Besides,it's not that big to be carried around. You can't do much work on a pda/xda,it's a bit too small to work with spreadsheets, presentations. You can view them comfortably but you will have to struggle making one on it.If you are worried about the size you can get a smaller laptop.Search for different companies, they will have different products of varying size and weights to suit your needs.
