I had a pda, but quickly found the screen too small to be useful for the spreadsheets I needed to use. I now have a laptop, and I use it for almost everything but graphics-intensive gaming.

Oh heck no, it's not too big. And the operating system is the same as my desktop computer's so file transfer is really simple on my wireless network. The PDA I had needed synchronizing software, and the versions of programs on it weren't always 100% compatible with the normal version on my desktop, etc. It was a royal pain the rear and not worth it at all. I'll take my laptop any day over a PDA.

Definitely Laptop is much better. I guess I would preferred using Laptop for heavy types of work and PDA's for lite type of works. Although PDA's for me is hustle free when it comes on doing lite and fast work. :D

i'd like a laptop due to it's portablity. it can be carried to project site where you can store informations and use it to design things otherwise you might have to take picture or draw with free hands and later do it on the pc. it saves time and it's easy to use if there is no power.

A portable but powerful laptop. It has more features. It is easier to type on a laptop too. Makes you computer small that you can carry it in your bag without lessening the uses (if there is some, it is only minimum).

Laptop because PDA is really small so not worth it.

i'd find laptop a lot better. you can do a lot of things in a laptop than on a pda. the only drawback is that a laptop is a lot bulky than a pda. but the purpose will always come on top

Obviously a laptop,in terms of power, screen size and other features.Besides,it's not that big to be carried around. You can't do much work on a pda/xda,it's a bit too small to work with spreadsheets, presentations. You can view them comfortably but you will have to struggle making one on it.If you are worried about the size you can get a smaller laptop.Search for different companies, they will have different products of varying size and weights to suit your needs.
