Would you buy a card for $20 which saved $100-$200 on shopping?

Lots of my friends now save money every day they shop for groceries, dining, car hire, pet shops, baby clothes etc.
If you live in America, the card is available right now, but would you buy one?
You don't have to promote it yourself, but you could enjoy the discounts, unless you are well off, and like to pay full price for everything.

Well, there are some factors involved in here. That card should somehow have a reputable background of actually providing the expected savings to the people who have purchased it. Money is not that easy to come by these days, and there are a lot of things to prioritize, so the $20 could be used for other expenses at hand. If a close friend of mine would highly recommend it (because it has worked for him/her), then I would purchase the said card. Another thing is of course if I would be a constant shopper in the establishments covered by the card. Happy myLotting!

I agree of course, we have to be careful when we see a new idea and have to look for the "catch"
Even though I live in England, I recognize the major retailers that have joined the discount shopping scheme, like Macy's, Target, Sony, Quiznos, Budget, Sea World, MacDonalds, Domino Pizza, Pizza Hut.
These retailers are certainly not going to join a scheme that is not genuine.
I just wish I lived in America.
You can actually put your zip code in, and see your local discount stores.
There are hundreds in your area !!
Thanks for your comments.

I would probably not buy one of these cards. I tend to forget to use them when I have them and I don't do a tremendous amount of shopping to begin with. Don't get me wrong, they sound like a great idea, but I think if asked, I would have to pass for my individual situation. Great question!

Thanks for your reply.
I have to agree with some of the shopping cards.
In England we have what we call loyalty cards.
I always forget to use them, mainly because you have to spend a few hundred pounds to eventually get a few pennies discount in a few months time.
However, the card you now have available in America, gives you really large discounts in all aspects of shopping/hotels/car hire and loads more.
Thanks.

This sounds very interesting, tell us more please. Whether I would buy a card like this, definitely depends whether or not I trust the company behind the card, and on whether or not, I have had friends and family recommend it. To me experience is a big issue, when trying new things like this.

I would probably not, I haven't heard about anything like that. I don't like to pay full price and I rarely pay full price for anything anymore. But since I haven't heard of it I'd probably say no, unless it was a great company and I know it's legit.

I agree, If you look at my comments regarding the large companies who are taking part, I think you will agree that it's well worth looking at.
Thanks for you response.
