Most of us have got certificates or qualifications, but where do you put your certificates? Do you get them framed? Do you file them, or are they just locked away in a filing cabinet, closet or out of sight, never to be seen by human eyes again?
I am very proud of my NVQ3 certificate in childcare, not that I am going to use it now but I got it framed and it now sits pride of place in the lounge for all to see!
Where do you keep your certificates and what do you do with them?

I have no idea where stuff like my "O" and "A" level certificates are - in a box or drawer somewhere but I've not seen them for a while. The professional qualifications I have are kept in my filing cabinet although I've not seen them for a while either but I imagine they're still there! In the days when I worked for someone else I had a couple of certificates hanging on my office wall but that had more to do with office politics than any real sense of achievement I got from seeing them there.

Well that's a good question. Right now me and my hubby put all our certificates in this rubbermaid drawer that currently is sitting under my bed! Not the best idea. I probably wont frame any, but I at least need to get a fire proof box to keep them all in!

My high-school diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree (MBA), and all of my other professional certification degrees are stored in a safe-deposit box at my bank, as there is little reason for them to be displayed within my office, and in my bank, their safety can be ensured so that I won't lose them.

Hi wolfie, through the years, I got a lot of cerificates that's too many to count. For the old one, I placed them neatly in a special folder. You can see my house with lots of certificate nicely framed up. They are mostly of my girls. Graduation and honor certificate, stuff like that. I like to show to everyone who dropped by my house how proud I am with my girl's achievements. :)

oh wow! framed nice. I have all my certificates, my college degree,my work experience certs, my recommendation letters all in filed in a single file. They are all in plastic covers and the delicate ones (like the one from 10th grade or my birth certificate) are all laminated so that they do not disintegrate. I keep my file with all the important files in a drawer. It is not fireproof but I know where they are also what I have done is I have scanned all our important stuff and kept them in a pen drive which sits inside our fire proof briefcase. so that if something does go wrong I have a back up copy atleast and I do not lose my identity totally even if it is for a few days!

Most of mine are framed, since I went thru a lot of training to get them, they are mostly in wildland fire fighting and other related subjects, hazardous materials, and such to do with fire fighting. They are hung in my home office

All of my certificates sit at the top of my closet in a box of other important papers just collecting dust.

When I get a certificate, such as my Bachelors Degree (okay, that one is the one exception - as soon as I get a frame for it it'll be on the wall), it sits on the piano until I remember to remove it. :) My Mum started for me as a kid, some folders for me to store certificates through the year, and its quite a big folder and it has pretty much ALL my certificates in it so you can leaf through it in year order.

I use to keep my certificates in a file and keep it in a separate shelf, so that it will easy to take it for going to the interviews. If we frame it out, then it will not be easy to carry for the interviews. So, it is better to keep the certificates in files

I have some from school that were placed in a photo album that cant be removed now. They would come apart if they did. My most important certificates are kept in my job folder as I feel that they are safe and I know where to find them when the time comes.

My certificates are in a selved file, which is in a box with lots of other stuff I don't use/need. The box I think is in the basement at the moment. As we move houses alot its hard to remember where I place things!

I keep all my certificates in an envelope in an old briefcase which is kept in the bottom of my wardrobe.
I've never framed any of them - the last sort of certificate I ever took pride in and displayed was my 50m swimming badge when I was a child - it was sewn onto my swimming trunks
