If you had the chance to live forever, would you take it?

If you have the opportunity to be given eternal life, would you take it? I personally wouldn't want to live forever because I think that one of the reasons why we are so special as humans is because we pass away, and leave our legacy with our children to carry on forever...without death nothing would be important. What do you think?

It is not good for me to live forever, coz god just give us a time to live in this earth! and all of us has the purpose in this earth to live so when we finish it god will do th rest! If we are living forever we have no purpose in this earth anymore so we are just a old man/woman that wants to live without purpose! were like a garbage in that idea!!!!!!!

I dont think that i would have accepted Immortality. Because theres no point in living forever. In this kind of world, its better if we pass away. And see whats there in store for us in the after life. And what after-life actually is...
And whatever comes to earth has been meant to go someday, the rule of the nature should not be broken.

no, i wouldn't take it. imagine being alive forever and witnessing all the bad things here on earth. i've only been alive 24 years and it's been very stressful. i don't think i can last forever. somewhere down the line i might just give up and end my life. seriously, it's just too long.

I understand your reasoning, but I wouldnt mind living forever. My one issue would be watching everyone I love die. But I think of everything I could do buy living forever. I could never worry about not being able to read all the books I want to, I could read forever. I could finish a novel and not worry how long it takes me. I could do evreything I've always wanted because I'll never run out of time
This might be crazy but I wouldnt care if people knew it either, I'd rather people know it. So i wouldnt have to try and hide it forever.

Immortal things, especially immortal live things, are monsters if they are not god. On the earth, no one will admit a plain people to be their god. So i will choose to live forever, only if i was an extreme eminent one. Or i will choose to live forever to live silently.
