Do you still use CD players when you listen to music?

I have a CD player but I don't use it that often anymore. I'm more comfortable downloading songs from the internet and transfer it to my phone or to the IPOD. I find it more convenient rather than bringing CDs with me as well as the player itself because it's kinda bulky. :) How about you? Do you still use CD players when listening to music or you're already into the new generation where IPOD or even your mobile phones are the ones commonly used? :) WHich one do you think is more convenient for you? :)

I still have a CD player that barely works and listen quite often to music on it. I have a large collection of CDs and prefer playing albums on my CD player, browse the inlay card etc and still prefer buying a new CD to downloading them off the net.
My Cd player is however on its last leg and looks like it will disintegrate to oblivion. And then I'll buy a new one!

I am still using CD whenever i like to play it on my computer, and DVD player.
But whenever i am on a trip, i'll just bring my mp4 and that's it, i am still on my favorite musics and i really love music.
Cheers and have a nice day ahead from Francis.

I am still in the stone age of cd's. I don't have an ipod yet but am beginning to scout them out. I love technology and the concept is awesome I think. My son just got an ipod and is loving it. I still listen to vinyl records, cassettes, cd's, radio and music on the radio. I would never get rid of my sources for music I will probably just keep adding more ways to hear it.

I usually listen to music via my PC, but I do have CD player that I use when I use guided meditation CD's.
I find it's easier to listen to them that way, because I can get into a comfy position and not have to worry about anyone else listening in or interrupting me.
Music is something that I don't really listen to a whole lot. My partner has downloaded a load of tunes to his cell phone and uses some of them for ring tones, but I don't see the point lol.

Help, I'm stuck in the past! I use a cd player 'cause I can't keep up with all the new tech stuff. I'd still use my stereo & 8-track if they still worked lol!

Hi there! Worry not too much. There are still a lot of people who are stucked with what they are used to rather than using the new techs. It's just fine. :) Besides i don't think you really are into the old stuff all the time. Being here at mylot simply says that you are already in to other new techs on earth. COngratulations! :)

I sometimes still play CDs on our CD component, but that's only when I want to play music out loud. But yeah, I'd prefer my mp4 or download music from the internet ;) It's more convenient and so I can just carry it with me.

Well for in my room I still have a cdplayer I use rather often. I don't have an IPOD, I don't want one unless I they bring back the original style or something. The nano and shuffle are way too small. Instead I have an md player, which I like. Although I've lent it to my brother recently since he lost the ipod hebought at the same time I got the md. I just prefer the md player, it's big enough I don't feell ike I'll squeeze too hard and break it likeI did with the ipod nano.

I usually listen to my IPOD if i'm going to listen to anything. Sometimes if my friend gives me a CD or something I'll bust out the old CD player and listen but it's usually the IPOD.
