Do you prefer to have bangs or not?

Since the time when bangs became very in to fashion nowadays, I have always wanted to have one. Unfortunately, it won't let me look good because I have a wavy hair and bangs are kinda nice to look at if you have a straight shiny hair. I have tried putting a bangs though but I regretted it a lot because I don't look pretty on it. It seems i'm an old woman. lol :)

I never had any bangs because it would make my face rounder. Usually, my hairstyle is layered look to frame my face. Even when I was a child, I never had experience having them. One thing I forgot too is that my hair if it is short, it has a tendency to curl, so bags is out of the question.

I was forced to wear bangs as a little girl so I was so happy when I didn't have to wear them anymore, so now I don't wear them for over 40 years.

I use to when I was younger but the way my hair parts i am not sure if it would look right unless I got a lot of my hair cut.

Actually, no, i prefer not to have bangs. Your hair creates a lot of oils and if your hair is laying on your face all day, it is going to make pimples. That is why I don't want bangs, and also, I just don't like the looks of them.

I always had bangs and I'm not sure why. I think whenever my hair was cut, it was just cut with bangs. Just a thing they always did I guess. I didn't care for it much then. I'm definitely against bangs. I grew mine out, but they don't seem to want to grow any longer. Go figure.

I do not have bangs , I did when I was young and had really long hair that I could sit on , but now I am older I like my hair short , especially at the front , I have a very short fringe which is feathered , I hate my hair in my eyes , My granddaughter has a very long fringe and I don't know how she can see anything clearly lol , but it seems to be the fashion now and they all have to be fashionable she is 17 xx

I dont think so..i dont know yet, the last time i have is when im years back when it is also the fad,ill try to consult a sallon consultant before doing so i guess..

In Australia we call it a fringe. Bangs sounds rather peculiar to me...no offence meant. I don't believe in fashion; I believe in style, elegance comfort and what suits a person's hair type, face shape and general body shape. I have a fringe at the moment but I'm trying to groew it out. Not sure it's such a good idea. It's just a nuisance when it gets long and I have to cut it and thin it out as well because my hair is terribly thick.

I believe in haircuts that fit the face. I look better with bangs than without, but others don't. Fashion is great, I love it, but at the same time the best fashion is whatever looks best on you and feels good. Otherwise, it stops being fun - and some people who follow the latest trend blindly end up looking ridiculous.

Me too when I was a kid I used to have bangs. Now that I am grown up I have long hair but I don't look good with bangs and that's the reason why I don't want to have them. They look very good on certain type of faces.

When I was a kid I remembered crying cos I had my bangs. I hated it. But now, I want to have my haircut again and have my bangs cut cos it's long already. I think bangs hide my forehead. :) My hair line's going up up up.

Some bangs are ok to me, unless they look as if they are trying to swallow or forehaed.

I prefer to have bangs. My face is round & my forehead long so I feel it looks better plus I've always had them.

As every one else has said I had bangs when I was a small child. bock in the 50s so they have beenound for some time as a fashion for small children. I don't like bangs for my self any more. I don't like any hair in my face at all. It just get on my nerves.

I have bangs. The upside is they help hide the wrinkles on my forehead. When I was younger I always wore them back. Now I pull them forward.

No bangs please. When I was also a little child, I love to have some bangs. But as I grow up, I have noticed that it does not fit my looks personality. I decided to change it for the better. Now I look much better than before. Thank's for my friends advise, I owe this tot them.

i used to have bangs when i was a kid too. i looked like i had a helmet on. haha. when i had my haircut last month, i wanted to have bangs just to have a different look. i've never had bangs as an adult and wanted to try it. the hairdresser said it wouldn't be suitable for me since i have a round face and my face will just look smaller. i just want to try it out. but i guess it won't look good on me.

Gosh no. Even as a kids I hated bangs. I don't remember how old I was, but back when I was younger I grew my bangs out to the length of my hair. For as long as I can remember I have never liked hair in my face. It bugs me. My husband complains about my hair because I always have it pulled back. He says it makes me look like a school teacher back from the old days. Yet my daughter (3 years old) has bangs and I think they look cute on her.

I prefer no bangs. I used to have bangs all the way until I was about 21. But I get irritated easily with hair getting in my eyes or hanging in my face, so now I don't have any. They are pretty cute on some people, and if someone has a big forehead, its definatly best to have bangs. But now that i'm a little older, I dont think they'd look good on me. Some teens look really nice with them though!
