Q-TIPS...Flimsy or sturdy?!

What kind of q-tips do you use? I only ask this because I can't stand the flimsy plastic ones because I feel like there's not enough cushion on the tip and I'm going to poke my eardrum out! I have to use the sturdier ones with extra cushion on them! I just came back from Las Vegas and we stayed at a 5 star hotel that provided many things to us, one of which being flimsy plastic q-tips! I thought that since it was a 5-star hotel and we paid good money for this suite shouldn't they at least provide good sturdy q-tips if any to us!!?? I mean it was nice of them to even give us those but if you're going to give something like that I think they should invest a little money and go for the good stuff!
