one of my favorite verse would be Psalms 119:60 which tells us "I hastened and did not delay to follow your Word"...something like that. This very verse was the one used by our pastor to call upon the youth, and it didn't fail because this is the verse that opened my heart to God. :)

Another verse that I really love is the Phil. 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
This verse keeps my faith strong and always encourages me to always do my best. Whenever I down, I just recite this verse and then I feel that my strength is renewed.

I forgot which verse it was but it was something from Matthew that sounded like this: 'If you eyes cause you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you, for it is more profitable that one of your members perish than your whole body to be cast into hell.'
I like Psalms too

Psalms 23 -
This encourages me whenever I feel down or dissapointed. Release the fear whenever Im in dark place or scary places.
This has encouraged a lot of Christians because of the promise God, He will follow us and guide all the way as long as we follow Him and acknowledge His works in our lives.

yes me too John 3:16 is my favorite, it's because God truly has given his son for us to be saved. that verse truly made me cry because God did not state that For he loved the world but For God "SO" loved the world. for me love really is sacrifice and its about giving up the thing or person you love the most. and God did it only for the love of us his creation and his treasure.

for me its matthew, the sentence what jesus himself called the golden rule: dont do to your next, what you dont want he do to you.
The essence of all religion and all rules and rituals for humans to live together is in this one sentence. Ther woulsd one be this one sentnce what human had to know and to do, there is no need for a bible, koran, law books, courts. Only this one sentence and no murder,no war, no hate... only one sentence, but it seems humans are not able to fulfil just this one sentence.

Romans 8:28- "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purposes."
It always encourages me no matter what I face or what I'm going through, God is working it for good, for my personal good and for the good of all.

I don't know the exact verse but I think it can be found in Psalms, also I don't think it is the exact words but it goes something like: The Lord is my light and my salvation, I shall never be afraid, the Lord is my light and my salvation, of whom shall I fear? Something like that. I always say that whenever I feel afraid. It really helps.
