What if somebody COPIED YOUR DISCUSSION???

when you find some one doing this violation in mylot you are expected to report the abuse to the mylot immediatly through the same discussion where you caught this user. Only thing is you must be double sure about what you are doing and it's not compulsary for mylot to take the action they will deside the matter at their level after thorough varification. if i trace that there is someone copied my discussion of course i will report it to mylot.. but how can i trace it since we have thousands of discussions here in mylot

I do report users like that! At the end of the day it was my idea and I usually find that people get more responses for my idea than me because I start it before I go to bed. They start it when every one is awake! Mine sinks to the bottom and they get maybe 20 responses. For something which I thought of without lookin around the forum for ideas. I do my best not to have any discussions that people have already started and if I do I tend to give them best response if they tell me they started one like it and I see they did start it before me. I dont think it is fair for someone to basically steal of anyone else. Why do it? If they cant think of a discussion to start I wouldn't start one. Just respond till one came to mind!

When I see a copy of a discussion which I have posted previously, that will enrage me. If I didn't know how to deal with it before, now I know that I am supposed to report it immediately to the mylot admin. I will surely do thus and mylot will undertake the appropriate action on the matter. This bad act of some mylotters must be put a halt somehow. I hope that all of the well meaning members of this community, will cooperate and help in combatting this unacceptable behavior.

No problem. Discussions are tagged. So, unless someone entered the exact title, tag, and content, that would be no problem. Sometimes great minds think alike.

if i seen somebody had copied my discussion then i would ignore it. if i seen that same person had copied another one of my discussions then i would be angry and i would report them to mylot. i like to give others a chance first

I think I would report if it is really the same as my discussion. I noticed some discussions which are the same from different members just lately and I don't respond to them anymore because I get this feeling that they would be reprimanded somehow.
