Number of news channels in INDIA

In India now there are many news channels. First the trend was to have slot of half n hour or one hour for news. Now a days there are more number of dedicated news channels that keep on airing news 24 hours. The number of channels doing so is also increasing. Is this constructive to have so many news channels having the viewer confused on what to see?? Or is it a good tool to show the public the truth that is happening ? What is your opinions on this....
