Do you have margarine or butter or both?

I know it sounds strange and weird but I don't have either, I am actually allergic to both butter and margarine it makes me billious and I can't touch it, so whenever I have sandwiches they are always dry, toast included! It used to be difficult in work canteens because all their sandwiches are buttered. But nowadays a lot of shops do not put either on.

Oh what a BUMMA!! I can eat most things without butter or margarine but if I eat toast with nothing on it, I suffer from indigestion for the rest of the day.

I just use margarine for most things but still use butter sometimes in cooking. My Aunt always serves french bread with real butter at her big meals, and I guess it gets a little melty because it's easier to spread there. At home though the same stuff happens to me, the bread tears.

I also prefer to use butter when I am cooking. I think it tastes better and it doesnt curdle like margarine does.

I used to use margarine all the time, but now I have gone to butter because one of my kids is a bit fussy and won't have margarine. I have to admit that I prefer butter too. The only annoying things is that it's too hard to spread half of the time.
