Will you actually accept a National ID card?

A National ID is one step closer to fascism. It'll make it easier to set up checkpoints and roadblocks. It'll create a database of everything about you. So what? You've got nothing to hide? I wonder how many jews, homosexuals and gypsies said that as Nazism grew stronger in Germany?
Do you want your heatlh insurance company to know how much junk food you buy? Do you want credit card companies to know exactly how to put your children in debt to them? Do you want your boss to know how much free time of yours is "wasted?"
The "Patriot" Act has ALREADY taken away some of our rights- warrantless wiretaps and unlawful imprisonments.
You have the right to be free. Countless Americans gave their lives for you to keep that right. DO NOT THROW IT AWAY BECAUSE YOU'RE AFRAID OF OSAMA!
Do a google search of Alex Jones' Terrorstorm video

I'm not up on American ID issuses but in Canada a lot of stuff should be linked. I have several numbers attached to my name; health insurance, Social Insurance, Driver's liscence, etc. These are all gov. related to start with. I end up with a bunch of cards that I keep dropping, breaking, or forgetting. I would like a "smart" card that had all that crap on it. I do not want it linked into my bank. I already have enough problems with the government, not that they seem to care, knowing how and what I spend my money on.
And that "right to be free"....bull. Rights are priveledges bestowed by people with more power than you. Ask a 14 year old.
