I am going to discuss a few good qaulities of an ideal teacher.
1.A teacher has to have a lot of paitence, that is the first thing needed
2.A teacher should be always encouraging, student s should always be encouraged for any small or big acheivement.
3.A teacher must be innovative, he/she should find new ways to teach.
4.A teacher is a preacher, always he/she must inculcate good values in students.
5.He/she should be v. loving and caring, love children like own kids.
6.A teacher must not be partial, all students should be equal for him.
7.A teacher should go to class with enough preparation,he should know what he is going to do in that period.
8.A teacher should have immense faith, love, care, feelings, for students.

I believe that the most important characteristic of a good teacher is the ability to ask the right questions. It's not so much about inculcating 'knowledge' into the students, because a lot of it is simply useless, very often absurd, but to teach the student how to think for him- / herself. Our thought processes can be defined as an endless chain of questions we ask ourselves, and the quality of the answers obviously depends on the quality of the questions asked. So more than anything the teacher, by asking intelligent questions, serves as an example for the student to do the same.

It goes withou say that an ideal teacher should be quolified academically for his teaching. That is the most importand and basic requirement for a good teacher. The next is his love to his job and his student. If only you love your students, surely you'll become patient and try every means to help them learn. Last but not the least, you should obtain lots of classroom strategies to deal with different teaching contents and achieve different teahing purpose. That's the most difficult part of being an ideal teacher. I've striving for that in all my teaching career.

Yes you are right that a teacher has to have lots of love for her students. And once you love your students ,they will anything for you, because they know that we love them.So as usual love makes everything possible.
And thinking if different strategies is also equally imp. A teacher is always expected to have noval ideas and new ways of making the learing process easy. And as i have felt somehtime they come to mind instantly ,without any effort. In the class only we solve something. And sometimes we have to plan and apply strategies.A teacher is known for her capability of inovative things and doing something in different manner.
