macintosh versus windows

mac vs windows - i am more familiar with a windows computer. i got to have the feel of a mac computer and had fun. maybe if i get to know about mac more, i'll be able to decide if i want to switch to mac computers or stick with windows.

i am more familiar with windows-based computers. i had the experience of exploring a mac book and i enjoyed the features that a macintosh computer has and found its functions to be cool. i want to know more about macintosh computers so i can decide whether i want to switch to a mac book or stick with a windows pc. which is more user-friendly for you; macintosh or windows computers?

right know you can find better software for mac than for windows, it will do the same and even more. And if there is some program that will not run on mac os x, you could still use it thru installing parallels or bootcamp (software that allows you to run windows on a mac)

Hey, I have both in my house, we have two macbooks and a dell desktop. It's hard for me to compare which is easier to use, because I had been using windows alone for 10+years before I got the mac. But that being said there are a few features I havent figured out on the Mac yet but it's easy to use, and the dashboard feature is really cool.

i agree with you on the dashboard thing. i find it cool too. at the moment, i'm also still familiarizing myself with what it has to offer.

GO switch to a mac. there's no reason for you to stay using windows. well anyway i own a powerbook g4 12" and i bought it last year i am using it everyday and i don't shut it down. i am only using the sleep mode for mac which is really good. it's like hibernate on windows but after you restore you could go back to work in 2 seconds isn't that great. well mac's do really have great software unlike in windows those free softwares are like trash. and windows is not reliable you'll be wasting more time on figuring out how to fix your pc than to do those things you really need to work on. well that's the truth no hard feelings you guys who love windows.
