Well the first think when i open my menu, what i look at is the price list! once we(me and my hubby) took his friends for dinner in a decent restaurant! and he ordered he ordered for everyone........ AND GUESS WHAT??? WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE PRICE! Oh my god! Just for six people we paid rs3500 and came out! I was so pissed off! since then even he looks at the price before ordering... BUT still price does not makes any difference to him unlike me! I always wonder what do others look at first when they open the menu? Price or the dishes?

money is not everyone's luxury, i guess, and i don't think it's bad to be practical. i have to look at the price list first because i do not have the luxury of having credit cards as well. it is better to spend the money that you have instead of spending the money you don't have yet, don't you think? if we were more practical, maybe we'll have less debts and less troubles.

i look at the dishes first... one similar incident happened last year when we went some posh restaurant i was ordering and kept on ordering. Then my friend asked me i had enough money or not ? i was confused. He then asked me check the price of each item.It total led rs2300 for 6.Then i only i found that we i lost my purse. We informed the same to the manager and i asked to send the to my home to pay the bill. He didn't accept, then i called my dad and paid the bill...

I always look at the dishes first, because how do I know what I might like if I look at the prices first? I check out the dishes and whats in them, and then run my eyes across to the price. If I feel it's a little on the expensive side, I ask my partner if it's okay. Sometimes he might sigh and little, but most times he says it's okay. After all, whats the point in eating out if there are going to be restrictions on what we're allowed to order or not?

Ya thats correct whats the point of eating out if there are going to bbe restrictions??? its not that you are not allowed to order but you personally are very cautious about the price!

When I first look at a menu at a restaurant, I see the dish before I see the price. Usually I don't go to too expensive of restaurants where I need to be concerned with the prices.

i look at the dish then the price..if the price is to high i look at the menu again..i try to be very frugal...if the dish i end up ordering is higher than i like i'll order just water to drink so that there is no added cost for a soft-drink

For me and my husband, it is definately the price. Because there have been places we have tried to eat in the past, that we would go in, look at the prices for food there, and then have to leave. We just could not see ourselves paying such high prices for Food unless we knew it would be worth the price they are wanting. People who just look at the Food, and decide never worrying about price. That must be nice, but when $$ is tight here, it is not possible.

when we go out, ill observe first the place if it is a high end restaurant and their services. if we are going to order our food, ill look first for the prices and the dishes in the menu to balance also our money. its very important that you check first the price before ordering because we will never know if the price of the food is worth it until we tasted it.

i look at the menu and then the price. it may be that i like the food but the price is too high. then I obviously don't order that. But most important is the main contents of the food written on menu card. I also go for costly foods.

I glance at the price but if it is something that looks justified, I will pay it. Sometimes it is clearly a rip off and I shun dishes that are clearly priced to gouge the public.

I eat something new I mean dishes only on the Parties..and I am lucky that i enjoy many of them a bit frequently. So what I do is on normal day meal..I always order those things which I had tried once or more and if it i nice...and above all I know the price.so I see the dish list and price both but at different occasions.

before whenever me and my husband went to the restaurant i checked the price first, but then my husband was a bit angry and he told me to order what i wanted and do not see the price, coz he said if the food is delicious and expensive then it's worth it.. i'm not totally agree w/this so whenever i go out w/my husband then i'll do like what he told me but when i go w/my friends i'll see the price first.

I look at the menu first then compare prices. If the price is reasonable then I order it. If its not then I find something else on the menu that is of reasonable price. If its a special occasion and my hubby is shouting dinner, then I go for gold :) :)

I don't even look at the prices. When we go out, it's to have a nice time. We don't go out frequently, so we make a point of having what we want, no matter what it costs. That being said, we're not walking into an unfamiliar restaurant when we do this. We have a few nice restaurants we truly enjoy and we pretty much stick to those. It's not uncommon for us to spend $75 to $100 (US) on a dinner out for the two of us, including any drinks.

it depends on whom i go out with. If its gonna be my family, i really dont mind as my dad will get us anything we want. If its my friends, then i look into the price list. But defenitly i will look for prices . Even if some one s gonna pay or i am gonna pay.

when we eat in a restaurant i usually look first for the dish because if you want to eat in a restaurant you should be prepared enough. and we seldom eat in a restaurant so if that happen before i go in i always make sure that i have enough money so that we can eat whatever we want to eat....

I look at the dish and order what I want to eat regardless of price.
