Happy Easter Ms.Marcia, sure wish you lived in my neck of the woods, then you could come over and join my family. Its 30 degrees here today and bright and sunny, all the churches and synagogues are full, since its also passover.
This is one of those rare years where, Easter, Passover and a couple of other celebrations from other religions fall on the same day.

We had honey glazed ham with pineapple, mashed taters with gravy, candied sweet taters, corn, slaw, deviled eggs, rolls and butter, cherry pie, and custard pie. I haven't had my pie yet, I am still stuffed from dinner. Good luck with getting your stove hooked up.
Happy Easter Marcie.

Too bad you didn't live closer, you could come on over and have dinner with me. It was yummy too. I heard about you guys getting all that snow. We got a lite dusting that soon went away. We didn't have a white Christmas but we did get a white Easter. The cold can't last too much longer. I feel sorry for the Robins and the flowers. The tulips are all drooping. I hope they perk back up.

We baked a ham yesterday and with it goes green beans, corn, new red potatoes, wheat rolls, cantelope and our colored eggs and some Easter candy. Did a couple of baskets for the kids. Sorry your stove went out. Ours did and fortunately we found another. Getting it hooked up is important. Hope you get it done soon. Happy Easter to you!!

Thats too bad about your stove. My oven hasn't worked in a long time and the part we need to fix it will cost about $300, so we haven't fixed it yet. Luckily I have a toaster oven and we cook everything in there. The ham is cooking now. I am going over to my son's house and we can't cook it there either as they don't have much propane left. problems everywhere but we will be together and thats what counts. I tried to make deviled eggs but they almost went flying across the room. I usually have no problem with them but I just can't get them to peel right. Oh well, so I made some peanut butter cookies instead. Happy Easter!

My family had turkey and ham with stuffing, turnips, carrots and mashed potatoes. We also had punch and a veggie tray. We also celebrated for my grandmothers 70th birthday which is the 12th all in the same day, so we got an ice cream cake as well.
