On being a single mom

I'm a single mom for 6 years now, we're happy and content with our life..just yesterday my daughter keep on aking a lot of questions about her dad.do i ahve to tell her the truth at her? she's only 6 years old..i don't if still have to wait till she reach 8 or 10 to tell her that her dad left us for another girl..what advice could you give me?
